Congratulations to Abbey Simcock who has been selected to represent New Zealand in her age group at the World BMX Championships. Abbey is currently in the top two for her age group in BMX in New Zealand. She will be travelling to Belgium in July this year to compete for the country. Good luck Abbey, we wish you all the best in your travels and the event itself, we look forward to hearing your results upon your return.

Synchronised Swimming:

We had two students, Sophie Black and Chloe Boyt, represent the school in the North Island Synchronised Swimming championships last weekend. Both girls competed extremely well in all their groups. The girls did a duet for the secondary schools category and took home the title. This is an awesome feat for the girls as there are around 100 competitors at the event throughout the North Island. Congratulations girls, what an outstanding result.

Cross Country:

We had a small group travel to Kihikihi to compete at the Waikato Secondary Schools Cross Country last week. The weather was not great, but makes for a good Cross Country with poor weather. Congratulations to Charo Heijnen on finishing 2nd in the Year 9 girls event.
